Professor Ahmed Ragab ist Historiker, Arzt und Dokumentarfilmer. Er erwarb seinen medizinischen Abschluss an der Fakultät für Medizin der Universität Kairo im Jahr
2005 und promovierte 2010 an der École Pratiques des Hautes Études in Paris.
Danach fungierte Ahmed Ragab als Richard T. Watson Assistant Professor für Wissenschaft und Religion an der Harvard Divinity School, wo er auch das Programm für Wissenschaft, Religion und Kultur leitete.

Professor Ahmed Ragab is a historian, physician and documentary filmmaker. He received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2005 and
his doctorate in philosophy from the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris in 2010.
After that, Ahmed Ragab served as Richard T. Watson Assistant Professor of Science and Religion at Harvard Divinity School, where he also directed the Program on Science, Religion, and Culture.
He is currently an Associate Professor of the History of Medicine at the renowned Johns Hopkins University.
